You can't excape from New Jersey--not without paying. Even if you want to go to the ocean, you have to pay. Beach towns own the beach and the ocean. Most towns, such as Ocean City and Avalon require beach tags to go swimming.
In Delaware, the beach towns own the roads. If you want to park on the public streets, you have to pay. Some towns, such as Rehoboth and Dewey require permits to park unless you use the parking meters. |
